Being friends with God

Mar 25, 2019

Praise the Lord, children of the most high God. Today’s scripture is from Genesis 12:1-4; Isaiah 41:8

God referred to Abraham as a friend of God three times in the Bible. Refer John 15: 12-15. Jesus said to his disciples, you are my friends. If you obey my commands, you are no longer servants. For a master doesn’t reveal his business to his servants, but I will make everything know to you that my father has revealed to me. To be God’s friend, you need to spend time with him and hang out with him. Friendship doesn’t come through acquaintance, it comes through intimacy.

God called Abraham and told him to leave his kindred his father’s house and go to place which he didn’t know and he was ready and the bible records that Abraham departed. He trusted God and moved on Gods word.  Today, do you trust God for everything in your life and ready to do what God is telling you to do without backing off. Jesus said you are my friends. I lay down my life for you. What are you ready to sacrifice? Jonathan gave his Kingship to his friend David because he understood God’s plan more than his father. When you walk in intimacy with God all other things becomes less important and Jesus becomes the centre of everything. When Jesus is your priority all other things are forcing they way towards you. God bless you.

Sure success

Praise the Lord saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture is  readings from Isaiah 58:11; Gen 41:37-44

Knowing God and having an intimate relationship with Him can lead you to sure success. What is sure success? Knowing the will of God and walking in it in obedience leads to sure success. You don’t chase money or people to be successful. You have a relationship with God and He gives you revelation knowledge, fills you with God given ideas, shows you His will and it leads you to good success. We can see this being demonstrated in Joseph’s life. Your relationship with God will make God guide you continually. He will satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Jesus is the living waters and He never fails. God bless you.

You do great exploits when you know who your God is

Mar 21, 2019

Praise the Lord People of the most high God. Today’s scripture is from 1 kings 17:1; 1 kings 18:1 and Daniel 11:32
Those who know their God, they shall be strong and they shall do great exploits for the Lord. When you spend ample and solid time with God you donot panic about situations. But you are stable and strong on the one you built your life. You do not know about him, you know him. Knowing about him is knowing him through someone else’s relationship but to know him is based on your own relationship with Him. Elijah had that connection with God so he could shut down heavens by his word and he also likewise opened up heavens for rains by his word. In James 5:17,  it says that Elijah was a man with a nature like ours and he prayed (talked to God). Intimacy makes you bold and strong & declare things, because you know the one who knows the ending from the beginning. He is the one, from whom are all things and unto Him are all things. Yearn and have that blessed connection with Him and see the power flow through you. God bless you.

Desire to know the Lord

Mar 20, 2019

Praise the Lord people of the most high God. Today’s scripture reading is from Jer 31:34; & Ezek 34:12

God’s desire for His people is for them to have a good and a victorious life. He also knows that the enemy always wants to keep His creation in the dark. The enemy does not allow them to know Him. But Christ is busy shedding light to the ones who are in His plan and He is busy revealing himself in one way or the other.

He will enter into their lives in one way or the other. The Bible says, “No more shall every man teach his neighbour, and every man his brother saying, ‘know the Lord’, for they all shall know me from the least of them to the greatest of them”, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sins, I will remember no more.

However busy your life maybe, give Him your time and make room for Him. He made you and me to have fellowship with Him so that He can keep us informed about everything, He is doing for us. He is a God with several dimensions. You know only a little. He wants to show you more of himself. Spend time with Him alone. God bless you.

Let God intervene your routine

Mar 19, 2019

Praise the Lord, people of the most high God. Today’s scripture is readings from John 5:1-11.

God wants to be a part of everything in our life even if we think its not necessary or important. We always want to live our routine lives as if we know better. God doesn’t sits back and just watch. He steps in into everything He thinks, He needs to be involved in your life because of His unconditional love towards his people. He wants to make many know that he exists irrespective of their acknowledgement. He still remains God.

We all are in for divine interference in areas we have become too comfortable and have made it our comfort zones. God is stirring up your comfort zone today to bring about a change for your own good. This man became very comfortable where he was and he also was complaining and blaming when there was something that he had to do.

Jesus came into the scene  and spoke the word.  But the man had to do the rising up,  take up his bed and walk. Jesus had to come in for this man to receive his healing. Open your life to God. Let him intervene in your life so that you can turn around to be a better person. Let their be divine interference in the lives of your loved ones so that you can see the change.  Divine interference brings about a change for good. Let God interfere. God bless you.

Divine Interference

Mar 18, 2019

Praise the Lord, saints of the most high God. Today’s scripture reading is from Luke 5:2-11 & John 4:16-42
Divine interference in intimacy.  You cannot be  having an intimate relationship with God and living a life however you want. Peter, and the disciples were busy washing the nets. Jesus asked Peter, if he could use his boat and started preaching to them. Then he asked them to put down their nets which they did reluctantly and caught a big catch.
First Jesus got into Peter’s boat, then into his business, and then into his personal life. Peter said,  go away from me Lord. In other words, leave me alone Lord, for I am a sinner. Jesus came for the lost and the sinners. He told them to follow Him and they did. This is divine interference. The  same happened to the Samaritan woman when she tried to impress Jesus about the knowledge she had about the Jews. But Jesus interfered in her personal life and brought her to the point where she proclaimed, she met with the Messiah. She brought the whole village to receive Christ.
God is going to interfere with some personal stuff in your lives and you’ll have to get rid of some stuff that you have hidden and are thinking that it’s a secret. To God your life is an open book.He knows all about you. He wants  you to be  like Him so that you can enjoy His glory and be walking in His victory. He has given you that victory which births from intimacy with Him. God bless you.
